Quality Control Technician Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Quality Control Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our production line. You will perform essential quality control checks and basic testing on products, including salt, acid, viscosity, and moisture. You will also monitor critical control points using metal detectors and x-ray machines, conduct pre-op inspections, and perform microbiological and allergen swabbing. Responsibilities + Perform quality control checks on the production line. + Conduct basic testing on products for salt, acid, viscosity, and moisture. + Check critical control points, including using metal detectors and x-ray machines. + Conduct pre-op inspections. + Perform microbiological and allergen swabbing. + Oversee 1-2 production lines at a time. + Manage a sample load of up to 10 samples per hour. Essential Skills + Experience in manufacturing and GMP . + Experience in quality assurance or quality control. Additional Skills & Qualifications + PCQI and HACCP certifications are a plus but not required. + Some college education is a plus but not required. + Ability to work independently and manage your own time. + Proactive approach to managing workload. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Romeoville, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00- $24.
