Full Job Description Description:
PM Mold is seeking a 2nd shift Quality Technician to help us take our Injection Molding Quality department to the next level. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact our growing company by assisting to ensure the smooth operations of our facilities. Under the direction of the Quality Manager, this role will support the production department through First piece, in-process and final inspections, early non-conformance detection and reporting of defective products. Duties & Responsibilities:
Will be performing injection molding dimensional inspection. Verifies first piece and end of run samples. Evaluate parts, record results. Identify dimensional and visual defects using Quality Standard Check. Will complete and maintain records. Approve and reject parts based on test results and standards. Also, will inspect finished parts and conduct dock audits as specified in procedures
Requirements:
Strong math skills Strong communication skills Understanding basic blueprint reading principles, understanding quality principles and practices. Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparator Plastics/Molding experience preferred Computer skills - excel/word Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) Excellent Attendance Mandatory Corrective/Preventative Actions Report Final Inspection Audit We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
