Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PMAbout Our ClientOur Client is a growing metal stamping and fabrication manufacturer serving customers across a variety of industries. Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Fabrication Quality Inspector to help ensure its products meet customer specifications, engineering requirements, and quality standards.

Position OverviewThe Fabrication Quality Inspector will inspect fabricated parts and assemblies at every stage of production, verify that they conform to drawings and specifications, and maintain accurate quality and traceability records. The role supports Our Client's
ISO 9001
quality system and contributes to corrective action and continuous improvement.

Key ResponsibilitiesInspectionPerform first piece, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated parts and assemblies.

Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.

Inspect sheet metal components, laser-cut parts, turret-punched parts, assemblies, and finished products.

Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.

Measurement & EquipmentUse precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, thread gauges, optical comparators, and QC laser equipment.

Verify the calibration status of inspection equipment before use.

Assist with gauge control and calibration activities.

Documentation & TraceabilityComplete inspection reports, quality records, and traceability documentation.

Review material certifications, certificates of conformity, and supplier documentation.

Nonconformance & Corrective ActionIdentify and document nonconforming materials and products.

Support containment and corrective action activities.

Quality System ComplianceFollow
ISO 9001
requirements and established quality procedures.

Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.2-5 years of quality inspection experience in a fabrication, sheet metal, laser-cut, turret-punched, or assembly environment.

Strong background in visual inspection of stamped and assembled parts.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).Experience using precision measuring equipment.

Knowledge of inspection methods and sampling techniques.

Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

Preferred QualificationsASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or similar certification.

Experience working within an
ISO 9001
2015 quality system.

Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to perform detailed visual inspections.
