Full-time, production floor Position Summary Performs in-process and incoming material quality inspections across the production line while maintaining accurate traceability, inspection, and non-conformance documentation throughout the shift. Key Responsibilities Conduct scheduled in-process inspections (raw material, welding, assembly, and finished product checkpoints) at required intervals. Perform incoming material inspections and apply appropriate pass/hold labeling. Update and maintain traceability, inspection, and non-conformance tracking logs daily. Identify and isolate non-conforming product, apply hold labels, and generate non-conformance reports (NCRs) with accurate defect details, quantities, and timestamps. Verify all shift documentation and reports are complete and accurately scanned/filed into designated recordkeeping systems. Communicate daily task status and quality updates to management. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive inspection checkpoints. Comfortable with digital documentation tools and tracker-based recordkeeping. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the production floor for extended periods. Work Environment Manufacturing floor setting requiring physical mobility and adherence to strict documentation deadlines each shift.
