$18-$21 Watseka, IL | Quality Inspector $18-$21/hr (+ $1.50/hr shift differential for 2nd shift) Full-Time | 1st & 2nd Shift Available | Permanent Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Quality Inspec tor for a manufacturing company we partner with in the Watseka area . This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail who enjoys working with blueprints, precision tools, and ensuring products meet quality standards. What You'll Be Doing Inspect in-process and finished parts to ensure they meet blueprint and quality specifications Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work instructions Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and hard gauges Perform daily checks to verify proper calibration of measuring equipment Accurately document inspection results, reports, and logs Communicate quality concerns with supervisors and collaborate on solutions Report non-conformities and assist with corrective actions and root cause analysis Maintain a clean, organized inspection and work area Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED (required) 1+ year of manufacturing quality experience (required) Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and similar tools Familiarity with quality standards, inspection processes, and calibration practices Solid documentation and data entry skills Strong communication and teamwork skills High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Schedule & Location Full-time | Permanent 1st and 2nd shift available 2nd shift includes $1.50/hr shift differential In-person position ??
