We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying products and materials throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet our rigorous quality and safety standards. You will inspect incoming raw materials, monitor production quality, and check outgoing products to guarantee excellence at every step. Responsible for verifying products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet requirements. Duties include measuring products compared to their intended specifications, verifying fit, form, function, and identifying defects. Check the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products. Follow and ensure proper quality procedures are being adhere throughout the factory.RESPONSIBILITIES
Approve or reject incoming raw materials with respect to quality standards Approve or reject finished product with respect to quality standards Check samples using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)- Maintain testing and inspection records
- Complete required internal documents when needed (NCR/ SQI) Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe, well-maintained and calibrated.
REQUIREMENTS
Able to read blueprints and work instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies- Good written skills to verify records accurately
- One to three years of related to quality experience
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach Able to effectively use handheld measurement equipment (caliper, micrometer, attribute gauges) as well as non-contact measurement equipment (microVu, comperator, smartScope).
