TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. has an opening in its Anderson, SC location for a Quality Technician who will perform basic quality techniques to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for returns analysis, continual improvement activities, supplier interface and customer complaint handling Inspect and analyze components and products for conformance to specifications Develop inspection instructions Perform system audits to ensure procedures are being followed Gathers data to help support continual improvement activity Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
2-year degree with HS diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience Must be knowledgeable of inspection and analysis techniques. Familiar with a QMS such as
ISO 9000
2000. Prefer a person with a certification such as the
CQT Physical Demands:
Standing for extended periods of time. Repetitive motion. Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers. Frequent lifting up to 50lbs - team lifts over 50lbs. Able to work in various temperature conditions.
