AppleTree Staffing is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Bloomington area to hire a Quality Assurance Specialist. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with production teams, and playing a key role in maintaining product quality and process efficiency. This role focuses on monitoring quality throughout the manufacturing process, identifying issues, and supporting continuous improvement efforts to ensure high standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect products and materials throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met Review production records and documentation for accuracy and compliance Conduct internal audits and document any quality concerns or nonconformances Assist with root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions Partner with production teams to improve processes and reduce defects Maintain and update quality procedures and documentation Support training efforts related to quality standards and best practices Track and report on quality metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment preferred Familiarity with quality systems, processes, and continuous improvement practices Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus Ability to perform audits and follow through on findings Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or specifications Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, and quality-related systems Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Education:
