Job Description
CMM Programmer / Inspector Position C.F. Roark Welding & Engineering, Co., Inc., (www.roarkfab.com), a manufacturer for the Aerospace, Power Generation, and Science industries is seeking a CMM Programmer/Inspector for our 7:00am, to 3:30pm shift.
Job Requirements:
This position requires a technical associate degree and/or equivalent related experience. The programmer is responsible for the preparation and control of CMM programs. Must have experience and an understanding of dimension inspection techniques.Job Specifications:
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Demonstrate capability in understanding and the use of GD & T. Must be proficient in developing inspection programs using PC-DMIS & Polyworks. Create or edit programs for the coordinate measuring machine (CMM). Knowledge of surface plate inspection techniques, measuring tools, and gages.Efficient in performing the following:
sampling, lay-out, & visual inspection techniques. Prepare, assign program numbers & maintaining logs as required per internal procedure. Capable of assuring that the inspection of all articles & components within the facility. Demonstrate capability in assisting manufacturing and quality engineering in developing first production article inspection packages. Capable in performing maintenance of all department equipment and tools in a serviceable working condition. Have knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management System. Must be able to follow quality procedures along with operating and inspection instruction. Initiative to improve their technical skills, knowledge and abilities. Perform all appropriate and reasonable duties along with special projects that may be allocated. Willingness to contribute towards company's objectives.
