Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector with Mechanical Skills to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards through precise inspection and measurement processes. . This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where quality and precision are at the forefront of everything we do. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of manufactured components using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems.. Perform dimensional measurements and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) analysis to ensure parts meet specified tolerances. Utilize calibration procedures to maintain measuring instruments' accuracy and reliability. Collect, analyze, and document inspection data to support quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions aligned with HACCP, CGMP, and other compliance standards. Skills Proficiency in using measuring instruments including height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Experience with vision inspection systems and precision measurement in machining environments. Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 13485, ISO 9001), GMP practices, FDA regulations, and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production. Excellent analysis skills for conducting quality audits, data collection, and root cause analysis. Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), QA/QC processes, and quality assurance within manufacturing environments. Basic math skills for measurement calculations and data interpretation. Ability to interpret production documents accurately while ensuring compliance with quality standards in production processes. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent communication skills for reporting findings effectively.
