$21.00-$27.00/hour, depending on experience and competencies.
Shifts Available and Hours:
Night Shift - 6:00 PM-6:00 AM This is a 12-hour night shift schedule, working every other weekend (EOWE).
Shift Premium:
$2.00/hour extra for applicable shifts What you will be doing Operate laboratory equipment, including CNC sample preparation, tensile testing and, where applicable, OES spectrometry. Perform laboratory testing and ensure compliance with applicable industry, customer and process requirements. Maintain laboratory equipment and participate in required preventive maintenance activities. Coordinate product dispositioning when non-conformances occur and support the customer referral process. Support Quality Engineering with trials, data collection, analysis and product inspection. What will make you successful?
Required Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Quality/Inspection and/or Automotive experience preferred. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and AS400. Basic knowledge of measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, taper gauges and height gauges. Ability to read blueprints and investigate out-of-tolerance processes. Strong attention to quality, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills. Ability to recognize risks and hazards and follow applicable safety requirements.
