Job Description:
•1st and 2nd shift available• Job Summary The Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Technician supports the inspection, sampling, and testing of incoming materials to ensure readiness for manufacturing sterile, injectable products. This role collaborates closely with Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to maintain compliance, uphold quality standards, and ensure timely material release. The technician plays a key role in maintaining laboratory operations and fostering a strong culture of quality, accuracy, and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform sampling and inspection of incoming components, raw materials, APIs, BDS, and excipients. Conduct visual inspections, dimensional analysis, and routine analytical testing. Review and generate Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and perform peer data reviews. Coordinate external testing, including sample shipment to third-party laboratories. Maintain daily laboratory operations, including instrument calibration/verification, cleaning, waste management, and inventory of consumables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material quality issues and support production timelines. Prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and contribute to continuous improvement or special projects. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures in a highly regulated environment. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address quality-related matters. Qualifications Associate's degree in a science-related field, or high school diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical quality control. Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., GMP). Proficiency with data systems such as LIMS, QMS, or similar platforms. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet visual acuity and color differentiation requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience with statistical sampling methods. Background in sterile manufacturing environments. Familiarity with compendial standards (USP, EP, JP). Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control roles.
