Maintain calibration records for all measuring instruments and ensure CMMs are properly calibrated per industry standards. Document inspection results meticulously, generate detailed reports, and communicate findings clearly to support quality control initiatives. Support continuous improvement efforts by analyzing measurement data to identify trends or deviations that could impact product quality or manufacturing processes. Experience Proven experience as a CMM Programmer within the aerospace or high-precision manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of CMM programming using PC-DMIS or equivalent software platforms such as Calypso. Extensive understanding of quality standards including
AS9100, ISO
9001, and ASME codes & standards. Demonstrated ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with GD&T annotations. Hands-on experience operating various measuring instruments such as height gauges, bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators. Familiarity with blueprint reading and dimensional inspection techniques for complex machined parts. Technical proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks or CAD-based measurement integration tools is highly desirable. Knowledge of CNC machining processes and tooling considerations related to precision measurement is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent math skills to accurately analyze measurement data and ensure adherence to strict quality standards in production environments. Join us in ensuring the highest levels of product integrity through meticulous measurement practices!
