JB Tool specializes in automation equipment, and low quantity high precision parts for the aerospace and other demanding industries.

Pay:

$30 to $37 based on experience

Job Description/Responsibilities Requirements:

Primary responsibilities of the position are to program and inspect machined parts with a Hexagon CMM using PC-DMIS software. 2020 Hexagon Global S Green CMM Hexagon Absolute Arm 2026 PC-DMIS software Applicants will be required to use other inspection equipment but not limited to Hexagon Optiv optical CMM, Comparators, mics, calipers, height gauges and other manual/hard checks. Applicants must be able to program and set up and run their own CMM and other inspection equipment. Work in a fast-paced environment, manufacturing high precision low quantity parts. Communicate feedback to machinist and tool makers on out of tolerance features. Read and interpret drawings, specifications, GD&T call outs, and job orders. Ability to calibrate or verify calibration of inspection tools. Responsible for setting up and running products in an effective and efficient manner.

Required:

Minimum 5+ years related inspection experience. Experience reading prints, understanding GD&T, and inspecting tight dimensional tolerances of 0.0002" or less. Organized and detail oriented. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Effective communication skills. The candidate must be a self-starter and require little supervision. Must be able to collaborate with engineers, machinists, and other inspection personnel.

Desired:

Experience inspecting Aerospace components. PC-DMIS programming experience preferred. Hands on mechanical aptitude. Problem solving capability.
