- $19.00 per hour Temp to Perm 10:00 PM
- 6:00 AM (Various Shifts Available) Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_180082 Job details We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Specialist to join our overnight team.
Responsibilities:
- Apply and maintain quality requirements and standards for development and manufacturing products
- Serve as the primary Quality Assurance resource to department supervisor(s) for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement
- Execute and analyze quality-reporting measures
- Report to management on quality issues, trends, and losses
- Participate in quality audits
- Ensure product quality to meet customer, state, and federal guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned Working hours: 10:00 PM
- 6:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
WMS Proficiency:
Experience with specific Warehouse Management Systems to track inventory movements in real-time.Data Entry & Reporting:
For tracking error trends and generating end-of-shift reports for management.
Root Cause Analysis:
Familiarity with "5 Whys" or Lean Six Sigma principles to not just find errors, but suggest why they are happening.Education:
No Degree Required Experience:
1-4 yearsQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years or more in Manufacturing or fast paced warehouse preferred
- Knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
- Skills in math, personal computers, and spread sheets
