Our teams help customers maintain product quality, reduce risk, and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards. We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to support operations at a customer facility in Noblesville, Indiana. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment and is committed to delivering quality results. Position Summary The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for inspecting incoming materials and components, verifying conformance to engineering specifications, and documenting inspection results. This role requires strong measurement skills, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality concerns. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform incoming material and component inspections using established quality standards and procedures. Review engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to verify product compliance. Utilize precision measuring equipment to perform dimensional inspections and validation activities. Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming materials or quality issues. Segregate and control nonconforming products in accordance with quality procedures. Complete inspection reports, quality records, and supporting documentation accurately and timely. Verify calibration status of measurement and inspection equipment before use. Support quality investigations and corrective action activities as needed. Maintain organized inspection records and quality documentation. Follow all customer, company, safety, and quality requirements. Experience performing quality inspections within a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Proficiency using precision measuring equipment, including: Calipers Micrometers Height Gauges Other standard inspection tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Effective communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with incoming inspection processes and supplier quality standards. Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) concepts. Previous experience in automotive, industrial manufacturing, or related industries. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and use precision measurement equipment.
