We are seeking a talented Engineering Assistant to join our exciting team with focus on Gas Turbine Engines and Defense Products supporting one of our high-profile clients in Plainfield, IN. This is a direct, full-time position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a high school diploma and quality experience in a warehouse setting.

Job Duties:

Candidates will be involved in leading or supporting various tasks including:

• Ability to follow processes & guidelines
• Ability to understand/apply technical data for quality inspections
• Ability to unpack/repack and inspect components
• Ability to meet deliverable deadlines
• Ability to evaluate and determine serviceability of components using technical publications
• Clear communication within the team and to the customer
• Candidates are expected to help raise the level of performance of the team, through a collaborative team setting, consistent communication, and willingness to help others achieve success

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years experience with part quality in a warehouse type environment
• Warehouse experience required
• Preferred experience: Quality Inspection experience
• Technical skills and ability to understand technical documents and manuals
• Professional communication, both written and verbal
• Detail oriented and good time management a must
• Ability to meet deliverable deadlines
• Ability to lift and move boxes/parts
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, to be adaptable, to work across multi-discipline teams, and to drive results

Compensation:

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $25 to $30/hour.
