Work4ce Inc. is looking for a Quality Technician role is in Princeton, Indiana. Non-local candidates interested in this role are encouraged to apply if they are willing to relocate/commute at own cost.Requirements:
Mechanically inclined and very hands on. Making adjustments and changed to weld equipment. Using various hand tools. More of a metrology role/ background. We do review parts but from a dimensional side. Available for 50% travel (within the US and Mexico, as well as foreign travel to Canada and Japan Available for 25% overtime Can work max 19 days. Vendor work M-F, Installation weekends, overtime, holidays, etc Job Description Check/confirm body weld jigs, tools, pallets, parts and assemblies to meet quality targets/KPIs for new model launch. Prepare, troubleshoot and confirm new tooling/equipment, parts and sub-assemblies at various tool/equipment vendors. Support weld and tool quality confirmation activities from installation through SOP. Create detailed Quality Seibi daily plans, Project Task Reports, Problem Follow Sheets, track activity status, coordinate Safety communications (JSA, CMs/remedies to unsafe conditions, & safety audits), and support daily/weekly verbal and written communication with the Quality Seibi Project Leader, BAC and Seibi Management. Provide effective written and verbal communication with Quality Seibi Team Members, BAC, Management and outside groups regarding dimensional information and issues that require resolution. Gather/manage part information from Digital Engineering systems and drawings. Analyze part/sub-assembly dimensional data and feedback to Project Leader and Seibi Management. Perform equipment/tool/part confirmation utilizing FARO Arm, FARO Laser Tracker, check fixtures, weld tooling/equipment measurements, and part fitting activities.
