Job Description

The Quality Inspectors role is conducting incoming inspections, final acceptance, and various in-process inspections as needed.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in all Quality Management System (QMS) activities including document change management, records management, training/competency, non-conforming material reports (NCMRs), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) Conduct receiving inspections per applicable SOP Support first article inspections Responsible for DHR reconciliation and other administrative tasks Assist in the implementation of continuous improvements to Quality policies, systems, programs, and initiatives Distribute inspection results to Quality Leadership for review and analysis Participate in process and policy improvement Participate in special projects as needed Data collection: Using equipment such as hand measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to collect data for various functions including, but not limited to equipment qualifications, process validations, and first article inspections All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree or equivalent 1 - 2 years Quality or other manufacturing experience strongly preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) GDT comprehension is a plus Experience reading and understand engineering drawings Demonstrate time management, organizational, and customer service skills Flexible, coachable Proficient in using various precision measuring equipment Strong communication skills (listening, writing and speaking) Proactive and self-motivated Work independently; minimal daily direction required to successfully develop deliverables Operates with a proactive approach towards safety, health and quality in compliance with all company, governmental and regulatory policies Quality mindset This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee in this position.
