Quality Technician Laminate Works Kansas City, KS Job Details Full-time $24 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance 401(k) matching Referral program Qualifications Quality assurance experience within manufacturing Full Job Description Job Summary Laminate Works is seeking a Quality Technician that will support the company's quality standards by ensuring products, processes, and documentation meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and internal quality expectations. This role works closely with production, engineering, and leadership to monitor quality performance, investigate non-conformances (NCR's), maintain compliance documentation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the company. Duties Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality policies, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Monitor production processes and perform inspections to verify compliance with customer specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Investigate nonconforming materials and products, document findings, support root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. Conduct internal quality audits and support customer and third-party audits by preparing documentation, facilitating audit activities, and ensuring timely completion of follow-up actions. Manage customer-specific quality documentation, certifications, compliance requirements, and reporting to maintain compliance. Analyze quality data, identify trends and recommend process improvements that enhance product quality, efficiency, and consistency. Maintain calibration records and coordinate scheduled calibration of inspection and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Create, maintain, and track quality training materials and records to support employee competency and compliance with established quality standards. Maintain accurate quality documentation and records in accordance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable quality management system standards. Partner with production, engineering, and leadership teams to promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Perform other quality-related duties and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
Pay:
$24.00 per hour
