Engineering Technician

Job Description A new company in Lenexa, KS is looking for an Engineering Technician to add to their growing team. This person will be traveling to job sites across the KC metro testing construction materials. On a day to day, this person will be driving to job sites, reading plans, testing materials, and writing reports for each job site. Specifically, they will be testing concrete, eventually testing soil, then doing inspection. They will be trained for the first 3-4 weeks before working independently. They must be able to work in the field and be able to lift to 50 lbs. and have a clean driving record. Most importantly, this person must be excited to learn about construction and materials testing and be eager to grow within the company.
