Quality Assurance (Q.A.) Technician

MINIMUM SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / RESPONSIBILITIES
1-year experience in food manufacturing or a related field in Quality Inspection Ability to troubleshoot food manufacturing issues that impact: Food Safety Food Quality Food Legality Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.) Ability to work with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software such as SAP, Oracle, etc. Ability to read, comprehend, and apply customer product standards to the production process Skilled in using basic laboratory equipment such as: pH meter Refractometer Densitometer Total Solids unit Viscometer by following detailed laboratory procedures Experience with can double seam inspection equipment Experience with bottle cap inspection equipment Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately complete quality analysis documentation Ability to multi-task in a high-energy, fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to stand for extended periods (10+ hour shifts) Strong communication skills to address non-conformance issues with production management and staff Ability to contribute effectively in cross-functional teams formed to address facility issues
PREFERRED SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Experience performing quality functions in a food manufacturing environment HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) Certification Experience working within a GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) certified
