This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming materials, components, and products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards Accurately identify and document incoming materials and inspection status Create and maintain inspection records and inspection lots within SAP or other ERP systems Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, and purchase order requirements Record inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality documentation Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve material quality issues Support supplier corrective action requests and supplier quality investigations as needed Follow all applicable quality procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to incoming inspection and quality processes Qualifications Education & Experience Associate degree, technical certification, or vocational training in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered Minimum of 2 years of experience in incoming inspection, quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related technical role preferred Technical Skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electronic components Experience using SAP or other ERP systems is preferred Familiarity with quality inspection processes and documentation practices Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping Preferred Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Organized and detail-oriented with a methodical approach to work Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Ability to maintain professionalism when interacting across departments and with suppliers Work Environment Manufacturing and warehouse environment May require standing for extended periods and handling inspection equipment and materials Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on the work area
