Job Description
Job Purpose Responsible for conducting visual and dimensional inspections of plastic molded parts, utilizing pression measuring devices and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of plastic molded parts according to established quality standards and specifications. Use precision measuring devices - calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, and CMM. Accurately record inspection results and maintain inspection records. Communicate results and quality issues to production and quality control teams. Follow work instructions, SOPs, and quality procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards. Identify and report non-conforming parts and take appropriate action. Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and implementing corrective actions. Completes ALL paperwork timely and completely. Report timely all safety, quality & machine issues to supervision. Follows all procedures, rules, and works in a safe manner. Perform other duties as required. Additional Skillsets Organize and maintain a clean, safe environment. Detail oriented. Time management. Communication Ownership of accountabilities and workload. Ability to read blueprints and manuals. Able to use equipment required to check quality. Knowledge of production procedures. Proficient in basic computer skills.
