Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Inspector to join our manufacturing quality assurance team. This role is vital in ensuring that products meet stringent quality standards during the overnight production cycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong inspection skills. 11pm-7:30am Mon- Fri. Looking for someone able to start on Monday night 9/14! Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured components using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for detailed geometric analysis of parts to ensure specifications are met. Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends or deviations that may require corrective actions. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address non-conformances and implement corrective measures promptly. Participate in calibration and maintenance of measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision systems to ensure ongoing accuracy. Assist in preparing documentation for quality management reviews and audits. Maintain a clean, organized inspection area aligned with safety and quality protocols. Skills Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment; familiarity with QA/QC processes is essential. Ability to perform detailed inspections accurately under tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating effectively across teams. Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance principles necessary for continuous improvement initiatives. This position plays a crucial role in safeguarding product integrity during the night shift by ensuring all manufactured items meet rigorous quality standards.
