Job Description

Quality Technician Job Responsibilities:
Performing testing and analysis on raw materials and finished products to ensure that our incoming and outgoing materials meet required specifications. Guiding and supporting our manufacturing team to ensure the highest of quality standards with the flexible films industry. Working in a team oriented atmosphere in a new manufacturing facility.
Job duties and knowledge:
Ability to use testing techniques or equipment to test the quality specifications of raw materials and finished products Ability to understand and quality specifications and preform final quality checks on material Ability to understand the customer specifications for finished product Calibrates tools and equipment as needed Analytical thinking and problem solving ability required A team player who will support the plant as required Ability to use a computer and various Microsoft programs, as well as learning plant specific software Drafting work instructions and policies for quality topics Inputting data into spreadsheets and record keeping documents Work with production team members to ensure a good understanding of quality requirements Ability to plan and manage projects Someone who is willing to learn daily Flexibility in work shift to support the plant needs Ability to adapt to a diverse work culture
Qualifications:
2 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing setting working as a quality technician. Ability to make decisions and direct others when required as related to quality specifications. Must be able to work on a computer and with the Microsoft programs without additional training. Training in the chemistry or the plastics industry is a plus. Must have good math skills. The ability to work on a strict timeline and under pressure will be required.
