- TITLE 32, GS-1910-9, you will develop the Quality Management Plan (QMP) th documents the management and operional policies and procedures.
SOF/ASAM
for applicability to AASF supported equipment. Evalue technical and meriel requirements for compliance. Monitor aircraft acceptance/transfer inspections, aircraft configurions, and component time-change requirements. Manage the weight and balance program. Perform command directed quality/special inspections. Perform inspections of maintenance shops for safety and condition of equipment. Monitor calibrion of shop and test equipment to ensure serviceability. Investige equipment failure trends on aircraft airframes and components and systems. Review and evalue quality compliance inspections performed by production units. Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) to, and provides liaison services between, the AASF and external organizions regarding QA mters. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience planning, developing, or administering quality assurance programs (i.e., supporting the development, acquisition, production, use, maintenance, storage, and supply of products concerned with the systemic prevention of defects and non-conformances, the identificion of unsisfactory trends and conditions, and the correction of factors which may contribute to defective items). Experience using computer and automion systems.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Must have least 24 months experience involving principles, techniques and accepted practices of quality assurance work (i.e., the applicion of stistical sampling techniques sufficient to perform assignments or preparion of technical reports on quality levels to identify specific problems). Experience in the applicion and theory of specializion using applicable publicions. Experience in the preparion of technical reports on quality levels to identify specific problem areas and to recommend corrective action.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
