Job Description
General Position Summary The role requires multi-functional skills to perform various tasks within the work area, efficiently operate all processes, and adhere to work instructions. It includes flexibility for overtime or off-shift work, a solid understanding of the Toyota Production System, and active participation in kaizen activities. Essential Functions Be multi-functionally skilled; should be able to perform any job assignment in the respective work area, Ability to run all operations efficiently and perform all checks as called for in the Work Instruction Manual, Flexibility to work overtime or off shifts as necessary to meet schedule requirements, Good understand of the Toyota Production System, and Ability to be active in kaizen activities. Follow Standard Operating Procedures on quality equipment. Inspect work and equipment as called for in the Work Instruction Manual, Report any equipment abnormalities or data out of tolerance to Group Leader/Supervisor Maintain a clean working area and organize data documents Job Dimensions (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities or KSAs) Standing Walking short distances Lift 0-20 lbs Reaching/taking components from containers Minimum Qualifications Education Requirements High school diploma required
