As a Quality Level 2 Inspector , you will play a vital role in ensuring product excellence and compliance with industry standards by performing detailed inspections, analyzing quality data, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work hands-on with precision measuring tools, collaborate with production teams, and contribute directly to the delivery of high-quality machined components that meet exact customer specifications. To succeed, you should have: High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training in quality assurance, manufacturing, or machining preferred 1+ years of quality inspection experience in precision machining, CNC manufacturing, or industrial production environments Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges), blueprint reading, GD&T interpretation, and basic CMM operation Solid computer skills for reporting, documentation, and communication; ability to work in English-speaking manufacturing environments and support a flexible shift schedule Your responsibilities as the Quality Level 2 Inspector will include: Perform precision inspection, testing, and measurement of machined components using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, CMM, and Keyence vision systems to ensure
ISO 9001
2015 compliance Analyze quality data, document inspection reports (FAIR, PPAP, first article), and support root cause analysis and corrective action processes in a manufacturing environment Identify nonconforming materials, execute disposition (rework, scrap, use-as-is), and communicate quality issues with cross-functional production teams Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections while maintaining accurate quality documentation and ERP/system updates Calibrate inspection equipment, perform floor audits, and ensure adherence to GD&T blueprint specifications and quality assurance standards About Us At Whitworth Tool, we are proud to be a trusted leader in precision machining, delivering high-quality components that support some of the world's most advanced and mission-critical industries.
