Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Biomedical Technical Specialist to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating a wide range of medical and laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will support healthcare providers by ensuring their equipment operates flawlessly, enabling them to deliver exceptional patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, technical skills, and passion for healthcare technology in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Duties Serve as a product and application specialist across all Parasight diagnostic platforms Deliver technical training to internal teams, customers, and distribution partners (virtual and on-site) Act as a primary technical support contact, resolving issues via phone, email, and remote diagnostics Collaborate with manufacturers, engineering teams, and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Support validation and verification activities for diagnostic assays and equipment Assist in the development and maintenance of training materials, SOPs, and user manuals Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks on analyzers prior to deployment Perform and support quality control (QC) processes, including assignment and verification of QC values Evaluate new products and technologies for clinical and commercial suitability Support marketing and commercial initiatives, including trade shows and customer demonstrations Partner with service and operations teams to ensure product performance and customer satisfaction Key Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent laboratory bench skills (hematology, chemistry, immunoassay, or related) Solid understanding of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) principles Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Strong technical communication and presentation skills High attention to detail with strong numerical and data interpretation ability Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/software systems Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly explanations
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
