Quality Associate Job Details Schedule :
1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30
PM Pay Rate:
$20.00/hr
Location :
Walton, KY Quality Associate Requirements/Qualifications 1-3 years of quality experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to follow written procedures, company policies, and work instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when needed. Understanding of quality systems, process control, SPC, and labeling control. Ability to perform quality inspections and testing accurately. Ability to lift 5-20 lbs. frequently and 30-50 lbs. infrequently. Ability to reach and lift overhead. Ability to crouch and lift from floor level. Ability to operate a pallet jack. Ability to walk, stand, or sit for up to 95% of the workday. Ability to work in temperatures between 50°F and 85°F. Close-distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception required. Ability to follow cGMP, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. Chemical-resistant glasses/goggles, gloves, apron, sleeves, smock, shoe covers, and dust mask required as applicable. Stable work history preferred; no frequent job changes. About the Quality Associate Role As a Quality Associate, your responsibilities will include: Conduct raw material, packaging, and component sampling. Perform label and packaging inspections. Perform dimensional and physical testing to ensure products meet specifications. Monitor product quality through visual inspections and additional testing as needed. Perform incoming material inspections and in-process production line checks. Perform routine production line inspections as a backup to the QC Inspector. Collect representative samples for testing and retention. Submit samples and resamples to the laboratory in a timely manner. Inspect and approve packaging components. Inspect RMA samples and ensure returned materials meet requirements. Assist QA with nonconformity reports, including providing visual evidence and identifying products for quarantine when necessary. Assist with documentation updates, including BOPs, BWIs, forms, and related quality documents. Review required paperwork for accuracy and compliance. Document all work accurately and completely. Assist with customer complaints, CAPAs, deviations, and OOS investigations. Ensure cGMP and quality practices are followed throughout the production floor. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
