Job Description
Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority (JPHSA) is a Local Governing Entity (LGE) created by the Louisiana Legislature in 1989. JPHSA is responsible for the management and operation of behavioral health and developmental disability Services in Jefferson Parish. JPHSA provides fully integrated primary and behavioral healthcare services through its JeffCare program. The Developmental Disabilities Community Services (DDCS) Division provides services and supports to assist individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with living in the least restrictive environments and participating as fully as possible within their communities. The Program Monitor (Quality Assurance Specialist) implements and coordinates quality enhancement activities for Home and Community-Based Waiver (HCBW) and state-funded services at JPHSA. The incumbent must coordinate the quality assurance requirements of the HCBW and state-funded services in Jefferson Parish in an inclusive and collaborative manner Five years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR A bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus one year of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services.
