Quality Assurance Technician - Hammond Location Hammond, LA Job Category Engineering, Manufacturing & Production Division Intralox Intralox, L.L.C. Quality Department has an opening for a Quality Assurance Technician to be on-site in our Hammond, LA facility. This position will support our Make‑to‑Stock and Assembly Line Operations production areas. Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed. • Perform required visual and dimensional inspections while utilizing quality tools and equipment to capture inspection data
• Interpret product specifications and tolerances on quality drawings accurately during inspections
• Lead the documentation of non-conformances and containment of non-conforming product
• Support and/or lead quality investigations and provide accurate and timely data collection when needed
• Support critical success factors and continuous improvement efforts
• Analyze and use collected data to lead root cause and corrective action efforts with Production
• Use data, standards, and necessary quality tools to make consistent and principle-based decisions, such as when providing a disposition for non-conforming product
• Utilize technical audit program by performing audits plant-wide
• Initiate and support the setting and updating of product specifications
• Manage and improve documentation of processes and procedures
• Provide urgent support to production and effectively elevate issues when needed
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the quality training program
• Maintain equipment calibration and calibration logs Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher education in a technical field (fields of mechanics, information technology, mathematics, science, etc.) or 2+ years of work experience in a manufacturing quality environment or plastics injection molding
• Proficiency in basic computer software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic understanding of measurement systems and tools
• Passion for learning and growth with ability to manage own tasks and meet goals and objectives with little supervision
• Demonstration of sense of urgency and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent listening and communication skills, with strong ability to seek buy in on all levels
• Strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills

• Basic understanding of the following: quality concepts, quality tools, probability, statistics, calibrations, and metrology
• Up-to-date professional quality certifications (ASQ, QAI, CSSC, etc.
