Job Description

This is an onsite position in New Orleans. Overview
  • This individual is responsible for product quality testing.
  • Food safety coordination. Food safety and quality administration, document control (organizing document/records). Assisting and executing the Director's vision to accomplish both departmental and company objectives. Duties
  • Perform quality testing (grading, cooking, collecting retains) daily.
  • Collect, review and file daily production and quality paperwork.
  • Receiving consumer calls. Report to the Director regarding consumer complaints.
  • Forward emails (consumer complaints) to the Director.
  • Perform replacement beans process.
  • Check pest control (baits, effectiveness, coordinate with DA(3rd party Pest Control) agents, providing updates to director/senior management.
  • Perform monthly Site Audit.
  • Collect finished product samples and cooking test for in bound lots.
  • Participate in quality team meetings.
  • Manage document registration and changes in

Drive files (temporarily).
  • Manage Internal Audit (IA) scheduling and frequency updates and reminder (temporarily).
  • Review forms and procedures assigned by the Director.
  • Participation and record keeping of company training weekly.
  • Monitor training effectiveness reinforcement and GMP rules to educate and monitor floor employees.
  • Assist employee safety tasks.
  • Perform tasks which are assigned by the Director.
  • Additional projects but not limited to. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing facilities.
  • Knowledge or experience of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety and laboratory testing.
  • Ability to work on a computer using MS Office products or other software.
  • Working knowledge of operational procedures and SOPs.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Passion and experience to drive higher levels of value, quality and customer loyalty.
Work Environment This position will be divided between a climate-controlled office and a non-climate-controlled warehouse where high noise levels are present with hearing protection required in certain areas. This position is an essential position and warrants on-site presence during working hours. Working hours are normally Monday through Friday. Specific arrival/departure hours will be discussed and agreed with respective manager. Travel Will routinely commute between our two manufacturing plants in New Orleans.

$19.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
