Quality Department has an opening for a Quality Assurance Inspector supporting our Vendor Quality Team. This position will be scheduled to be On Campus Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed. Job Responsibilities and Requirements Responsibilities:

+ Accurately and consistently verifies incoming material meets Intralox drawings and Quality standards prior to placement in inventory. + Supports quality projects and continuous improvement efforts. + Documents and issues Intralox Nonconformance Reports, quarantines nonconforming product + Ensures that the Quality Assurance sampling plans are being followed. + Makes decisions based on inspection data and Quality Standards. + Ensures accurate data entry into the appropriate Quality databases + Maintains cleanliness and organization of QC Lab. + Assists with training of QA backups. + Communicates quality data through documentation, email, and personal interfaces.

Requirements:

+ High school graduate (or G. E. D. equivalent) + Minimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment. + Minimum of 6 months experience working within a Quality Control division of a manufacturing company. + Experience reading engineering drawings + Demonstrated success working independently. + Good analytical and problem solving skills. + Passion for learning and growth with a demonstrated record of self-management. + Strong attention to detail with Quality minded experience. + Excellent decision making, organization and communication skills. + Above proficient in standard software packages (MS Office, Excel, Teams etc.) + 1+ years of experience in an engineering, supply chain or quality related field.

Desired Qualifications:

+ 1+ years of experience in an engineering, supply chain or quality related field. + Previous experience working with suppliers. + Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills. + Root Cause Corrective Action experience. + Statistical Process Control experience. + Keyence, CMM, hand gaging or other measurement system experience. + ASQ Certified Quality Inspector preferred.
