Overview Join our team as a Scale House Operator and become a vital part of our logistics and recycling operations! In this energetic role, you will oversee the efficient weighing, recording, and processing of inbound and outbound vehicles at the scale house. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth traffic flow, accurate data entry, and adherence to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and operational skills make a real impact every day. Duties Operate the scale system to weigh trucks and record data accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS). Verify shipment details, ensuring proper documentation for shipping & receiving processes Manage vehicle traffic flow at the scale house, directing trucks for loading, unloading, or staging as needed Assist with load & unload activities by coordinating with warehouse staff and drivers Keep detailed logs of all transactions, including inbound/outbound loads and vehicle movements. Data entry for inventory of inbound and outbound items. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related roles with a focus on logistics management Strong basic math skills for weighing calculations and data entry accuracy Excellent communication skills to coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors Experience with Excel, Word, and overall computer skills.
