Job Description

About the Role As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining manufacturing excellence by ensuring all products meet rigorous quality standards. You will leverage your technical expertise in dimensional inspection and process improvement to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Validate product quality through precise dimensional verification of first article and PPAP components to ensure compliance with customer specifications. Utilize advanced measurement systems, including FARO and Micro-Vu equipment, to perform accurate technical inspections of raw materials and finished goods. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing quality metrics and implementing corrective actions to resolve process deviations. Manage the calibration of precision measuring instruments in accordance with established ISO standards. Support production teams by providing expert guidance on measurement techniques and interpreting complex manufacturing documentation. Facilitate the release of finished products by verifying that all necessary certifications and documentation are accurate and complete. Mentor junior staff members on quality protocols and inspection best practices to foster a culture of excellence. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in a high-precision manufacturing or metal fabrication environment. Strong proficiency in GD&T concepts and dimensional inspection methodologies. Demonstrated ability to collect, evaluate, and report on quality data to drive decision-making. Solid mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages. Experience with standard office software suites for documentation and communication. Preferred Skills Associate degree in a technical or engineering-related field. Professional certification as a Quality Technician. Advanced experience programming and operating automated measurement equipment. Deep understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and continuous improvement frameworks.
