$24-26 per hour (based on experience) ️
Schedule:
Full-Time| 7:30am-4:00pm

Compensation & Benefits:
Paid Time Off (PTO): One week after 90 days; an additional week at 6 months of employment.

Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Technician (QAT) supports the QA department by monitoring quality control measures during production to ensure all food safety, product specifications, and customer standards are consistently met. This role performs inspections, documentation reviews, and in-process checks while maintaining a proactive approach to food safety and quality improvement. The QA Technician plays a key part in upholding CG Family Foods' commitment to excellence and works closely with production teams to resolve issues, maintain compliance, and ensure every product meets company and regulatory standards.
What You'll Do:
Verify raw materials and finished products meet quality and labeling requirements. Conduct sensory and visual evaluations to ensure products meet established standards. Support process controls by monitoring GMP compliance, CCPs, weights, labels, and temperature checks. Investigate and document any nonconformances; implement QA hold procedures when needed. Review batch and production records for accuracy and completeness. Assist with documentation audits, sanitation verification, and environmental monitoring data. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues affecting food safety or product quality. Maintain quality assurance databases, reports, and documentation.
What We're Looking For:
Associate degree (AA) or equivalent, or 6 months to 1 year of related QA or manufacturing experience. Working knowledge of GMPs and food manufacturing practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Strong communication and teamwork skills with a positive attitude. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in variable temperature conditions.
Posted Salary Range:
USD $24.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.
