Job Description
Performs incoming material, component, PCB, and mechanical part inspections to verify compliance with engineering, customer, and quality requirements before release to production. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED. Basic computer proficiency and data entry experience. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, inspection instructions, and manufacturing documentation. Ability to perform visual, dimensional, cosmetic, and workmanship inspections. Ability to use measurement and inspection equipment such as calipers, gauges, microscopes, and related tools. Ability to complete inspection reports, quality records, and system transactions. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 25 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive hand and arm movements as required. Ability to visually inspect components, assemblies, documentation, and computer displays with or without corrective lenses. Ability to distinguish colors, markings, symbols, and other required visual indicators. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and ESD protection devices. Ability to work in an electronics manufacturing environment near production equipment, soldering operations, and automated machinery. Ability to travel up to 10% based on business requirements. Preferred Skills 1+ year of manufacturing, inspection, quality, or related experience. Experience in electronics manufacturing. Experience inspecting printed circuit boards, electronic components, or mechanical parts.
