Softlines:
Testing, inspection, and certification services for textiles, clothing, footwear, leather goods, and other consumer products.Hardlines:
Safety and quality testing for household goods, toys, furniture, sports equipment, tools, and DIY products.Electrical:
Testing and certification of electrical and electronic products, from household appliances to industrial control systems.Solar & Commercial:
Quality assurance and certification of photovoltaic modules, inverters, and commercial technical installations.Medical:
Comprehensive testing and certification for medical devices, from diagnostic equipment to implants, including regulatory consulting. Join a Strong Team! Compensation The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 and reflects factors such as years of experience, relevant expertise, and overall qualifications. Job Summary Participate in completing regulatory compliance testing and reporting on client products. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Meet test objectives by determining testing methods and selecting testing equipment. Ensure customer test criteria is correctly interpreted and applied. Interpret and apply applicable test standards. Conduct appropriate regulatory compliance tests to determine if the product complies with all applicable requirements. Report test results by collecting, analyzing, interpreting and summarizing data. Generate and revise test documents and reports (SOPs, datasheets, methods). Assist in identifying and reporting all deviations. Analyze and evaluate test data and characterizes product performance. Investigate and resolve testing problems, report and explain deviations and failures. Establish and maintain professional relationship with customers. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and respond promptly to their inquiries. Meet internal and external customers deadlines as scheduled. Maintain confidentially of all client and TUV information. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Further Qualifications No previous professional experience required. Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures used in engineering. Good troubleshooting and creative problem solving skills. Good verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of automatic testing equipment and techniques. Knowledge of US and international regulatory standards and approvals requirements. Ability to travel to client locations. Driver's License required.
