This individual will work closely with the Production Supervisors to enforce GMP's, and monitor processing procedures to ensure top quality products. Good communication skills, problem solving skills, math skills, attention to detail as well as the ability to work independently required. 1-2+ years of Quality Assurance experience preferred. 10% shift differential Approximate hours 3:30PM-Midnight with rotating Saturdays as needed. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to... Conduct in-process analytical testing on all products manufactured on our continuous cooking equipment.
Tests include:
% soluble solids, viscosity and color. Conduct in-process organoleptic and visual inspection on all products manufactured in our products. Audit all cook stations and packaging lines for adherence to HACCP food safety protocol, weights, seals, temperatures, codes, GMP's etc. Responsible for food safety and quality of the product produced or packaged on a daily basis. Initiate corrective action by reporting any food safety or quality problems/issues to supervisor or designee. Perform equipment environmental swabbing when needed. Maintain professional communication within all levels of production and management. Complete all daily paperwork accurately and in detail. Verify incoming raw materials to match BOL, accuracy of COA's Verify printed labels and packaging on all films match standard as provided by Marketing. Perform annual raw material validations against supplier COA. Provide coverage on production floor or QA lab as needed. Concord Foods is an
