Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Job Summary The Inspector performs inspections across all phases of assembly and manufacturing, including in‑process, finished, subcontracted, and purchased parts. This role ensures products meet workmanship, quality, and documentation standards in accordance with established procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of inspections to support all stages of assembly and manufacturing operations. Inspect subcontracted and/or purchased parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and related documentation. Apply basic math skills and instrument reading to verify measurements and specifications. Use basic measuring tools and inspection instruments, including equipment used for continuity testing of assemblies and components. Understand and apply workmanship acceptance criteria used on the production floor. Accurately document inspection results, errors, and discrepancies in a clear, neat, and legible manner. Maintain thorough knowledge of all inspection‑related paperwork and documentation requirements. Follow established procedures and safety precautions to prevent injury, equipment damage, or material loss. Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly inspection/work area. Perform additional duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Ability to follow work instructions and accurately read and interpret blueprints. Basic computer literacy. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and discrepancies. High school diploma or equivalent (no degree required). Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, as required. Security Clearance Must be eligible to obtain a clearance Desired Skills Active J‑STD‑001 Certification Active IPC‑A‑610 Certification Skills Quality control, Troubleshooting Additional Skills & Qualifications Manager prefers candidates with an active Secret Clearance. Candidates with a previously held clearance will highly be considered over canidates without one. All canidates submitted must be eligible to obtain a clearance Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
