Hours:
1st Shift M-F Responsibilities Perform daily quality tests and inspections on in-process materials and finished membranes. Hourly observation and documentation of production processes and quality parameters. Perform acceptance tests on incoming raw materials and semi-finished materials. Formulate color matches for sales using spectrophotometric software. Data entry of laboratory generated data using MS Excel and MS Access. Maintain a clean and safe laboratory area. Follow company environmental policy and work practices or other concern which would affect safety, environment, or company property. Other duties, as assigned. Requirements High School Degree. Experience in laboratory environment, measurements, and production desirable. Some experience with computerized testing equipment such as laboratory balances, tensile testers, and spectrophotometers. Knowledge of Windows software, in particular Microsoft Excel, Word, Access. Good verbal and written communication skills. Accuracy with data input and attention to detail.
