The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our quality systems and ensuring customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality products. Responsibilities Inspect product at determined intervals to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers and records and maintain "Inspection Data Sheets". Inspect incoming components and materials for acceptability and conformance to requirements Select products for tests at specified stages per sampling plan in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical characteristics. Inspect and evaluate customer returned product and aid Set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts or products to determine acceptability per inspection standards. Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems. Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions. Maintain a safe work environment, ensure safety procedures are followed, and safety devices are operational. Be knowledgeable of products and quality requirements.
