Accumet is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to verify that incoming materials and production parts conform to customer drawings, quality notes, dimensional requirements, and company standards. About the

Role:

Perform visual and dimensional inspections throughout the manufacturing process. The Quality Inspector will use a variety of precision measurement tools and inspection equipment based on the specific requirements of each job. This position is responsible for documenting inspection results, identifying nonconformances, supporting calibration activities, and working with production and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify part dimensions and tolerances to ensure incoming materials and production parts conform to specifications
• Perform in-process inspections to verify that quality assurance standards are being achieved
• Complete inspection reports and nonconformance reports
• Reconcile final inspection documentation
• Validate quality documentation and monitor calibration activities
• Apply knowledge of ISO and AS requirements
• Record inspection results and communicate necessary adjustments to the Production team
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality-related issues
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Assist with training new inspectors on quality standards and inspection procedures
• Use visual inspection devices and precision measurement tools as required for each job
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret GD&T blueprints and drawings
• Experience using inspection tools and equipment, including pin gauges, verniers, CMMs, micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
• Experience with JobBOSS or an equivalent manufacturing or ERP software system
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from standards
• Ability to work independently and make decisions based on inspection findings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of ISO and AS quality requirements preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally stand and walk throughout the workday
• Lift and/or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds
• Perform work requiring close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Occasionally work around fumes or airborne particles
• Work in an environment where the noise level is usually moderate
• Wear personal protective equipment as required

Compensation:

• Hourly pay range: \$30.00 to \$32.00
• Actual compensation based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
