Job Description

Savvy Staffing is hiring an experienced Electrical Panel Tester to perform validation and acceptance testing of electrical control panels in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with point-to-point wiring, electrical schematics, and testing electrical panels.
Responsibilities:
Perform validation and acceptance testing of electrical control panels Read and follow wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings Inspect panel assemblies for wiring and component defects Verify point-to-point wiring and device connections Assist with troubleshooting and identifying electrical defects Perform basic power-up and testing procedures under supervision Work with motors, sensors, switches, and other electrical devices Perform simple program downloads and device interconnects Participate in system testing to verify basic functionality Document test results and assist with red-lining engineering drawings Support manufacturing and testing teams as needed Follow all safety procedures when working with electrical systems
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required 3-5 years of experience testing electrical panels Previous point-to-point wiring experience required Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings Familiarity with UL standards Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology or technical training preferred Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods Comfortable working around electrical components and systems Must follow all required safety procedures and PPE requirements
Pay:
$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
