SUMMARY This position provides supplemental quality verification and audit support, with a primary focus on reviewing, auditing, and verifying finished goods placed on quality hold. The role supports existing Quality Control operations by performing secondary inspections, documenting findings, and assisting with containment and release activities as directed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING

(Other duties may be assigned.) Perform independent verification inspections of finished goods placed on quality hold. Review quarantined product for conformance to specifications, workmanship standards, and customer requirements. Document inspection results and findings related to the material held. Support containment activities, including segregation, identification, and tracking of held product. Escalate nonconformances identified during verification reviews to Quality Management Assist with release, rework, or disposition decisions as directed by Quality Management Spot-check finished goods as part of quality verification activities. Support quality checks during periods of increased workload. Assist with documentation and quality records as required. Perform physical quality testing as required, including Sutherland Rub testing to verify print durability and surface integrity. Utilize the company ERP system to review job data, document inspection results, and support quality hold and release processes.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, to verify material thickness and conformance to specification. Ability to perform standard quality tests including Sutherland Rub testing. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence, effectively present information one-on-one, small groups, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and draw bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
