Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards by performing precise inspections and measurements throughout the production process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations, uphold safety protocols, and guarantee customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications. Perform dimensional measurements and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) assessments to ensure products meet quality standards in production. Utilize calibration procedures to verify the accuracy of measuring instruments and maintain measurement records for compliance purposes. Support the implementation and maintenance of the
ISO 9001
quality management system. Identify non-conformances through visual inspections, measurement discrepancies, or process deviations; document findings clearly and escalate issues promptly. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions, improve quality systems, and support continuous process improvements. Qualifications Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality systems such as QA/QC protocols. Proficiency in using measuring instruments including height gauges, dial indicators, calipers, micrometers. Familiarity with industry standards such as
ISO 9001
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation accurately. Strong analysis skills for identifying root causes of defects or measurement issues; capable of conducting quality audits effectively. Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations involved in quality inspections. Experience operating vision inspection systems and understanding the use of precision measuring instruments for dimensional assessments. Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards applicable to manufacturing environments; ability to ensure adherence during all inspection processes.
