Job Description

MK Services seeks an experienced CMM Programmer to add to our team! The CMM Programmer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and generating CMM programs used to inspect and verify production materials and components, ensuring all parts meet quality standards required in the aerospace and defense sectors. Work directly with Quality Engineer resources to determine inspection criteria and best practice inspection techniques. Operate measurement equipment to perform machine trails on newly developed part programs and prepare them for machine rediness.
Job Requirement Program Development:
Create, execute, and run programs on CMM machines using software such as PC-DMIS.
Inspection Criteria:
Review blueprints and specifications to establish correct inspection criteria following best practices.
Quality Assurance:
Perform meticulous inspection and testing to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
Collaboration:
Work closely with CAM programming, Quality Inspectors, and Machinists to develop appropriate in-process manual inspections and optimize final inspection strategies.
Documentation:
Write detailed inspection plans, including CMM fixture setup.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to industry standards such as ISO and GD&T.
Continuous Improvement:
Familiarity with Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience Education:
Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field.
Experience:
2 - 5 years of related experience in CMM programming, or relevant experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with PC-DMIS software, strong understanding of CNC programming, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and quality inspection processes.

Attention to detail, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
