Full Job Description Job Summary:
Optim LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced technician to help maintain and ensure high-quality products and an effective Quality Management System.
Core Responsibilities:
Performing mechanical and visual inspection of incoming material and/or components, final inspection, and evaluation through quality control, calibration, and auditing.
Primary Duties:
Perform visual and dimensional inspection on incoming material and components. Perform in-process inspection, testing and process audits. Perform final inspection of various devices. Complete required quality documentation, forms and transactions within ERP and databases. Participate in MRB meetings relating to non-conforming material. Assist Purchasing with the supplier related quality issues providing inspection data and feedback as required. Maintain MSDS files. Perform final review of Work Orders. Perform evaluations on any returned products received. Populate and maintain the customer concern database. Maintain a calibration schedule and records for all equipment. Manage the timely calibration of equipment using external calibration vendors and by performing calibration on tooling/equipment in house as needed. Perform, document, and report the results of in-process process audits. Participate in internal, supplier, and third party audits as required. Provide coverage/back-up support for the QA Specialist, as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
N/A Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Able to read and understand engineering drawings (dimensioning and tolerancing). Effectively and accurately able to use monitoring and measuring equipment. Proficiency in computer skills, such as Microsoft Office, electronic document management systems, and inventory management systems. Experience in an
FDA/ ISO 13485
2015 registered establishment. 5+ years of work experience, in medical devices, aerospace, or a related field preferred. Why join Optim LLC? $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
